Estate Information:
Key Auctions is pleased to have been chosen to sell the Estate of
the late Robert “Bob” Savoie 1934 – 2016. For years, Bob & his family have
been dear friends. He was a
knowledgeable antique dealer & one of the Maritimes best upholsterers. The
majority of this Estate Auction will be contents from his personal home, as
well as his upholstery shop. As Bob was involved with buying & selling
antiques during his life you can imagine the quality & quantity of his
personal collection! The second part of this large Double Estate Auction will
be contents from a large stately home that had some very nice country
primitives & a substantial antique German doll collection.

This doll collection comes from an amazing lifetime collection,
FRESH-to-the-MARKET, all to be sold! One thing you will see about this
collection is that the condition of the dolls whether Bisque, Composition &
wax are in great order, meaning the
joints, fingers, eyes, hair, dressers are all in good order. (In handling this collection, we didn’t see
one broken finger in over 60 dolls meaning 600 fingers good & intact!) A wide range in this collection, everything from
desirable bisque baby dolls to large C.M. Bergmann 34 inch doll. You will be
long remembering a finer collection of dolls coming up for auction. There are
so many some will be sold together in lots. You will also find many lots of
antique child’s / doll furniture. Also another feature of this collection is a
complete doll house, not a detail missed (a little girl’s dream). Also several
