Estate Information:

Key Auctions is pleased to have been asked to sell the Estate of the Late Eleanor Cowden McGinley. Eleanor was the daughter of the Late John Babington Macaulay Baxter (1868 – 1946) – Saint John – the 19th Premier of New Brunswick 1925 – 1931. Walking into Mrs. McGinley’s house was like walking into a time capsule, the house was furnished completely in high quality furnishing dating back to the 1800’s… with what you would imagine in the late Premier’s house….everything from the early NB furniture, the families’ sterling silver flatware sets, the Royal Crown Derby dinner sets, home décor & more. It was all there! This estate auction will feature many one-of-a kind pieces and a quality rarely seen – all to be sold!
